5 ways to increase your sutenace in halal means
As humans, we try to do everything within our limits to increase sustenance whether its our job or business. We intend to double our means of income by striving hard. It is our belief that Allah has not created a single soul whose sustenance isn’t decided. He provides Rizq to every one including Muslims, non Muslims, animals and all creatures. That is why He is ar-Razzaq (One who gives you Rizq). Allah says in the Holy Qur'an:
“And no moving (living) creature is there on earth but its provision is due from Allah. And He knows its dwelling place and its deposit (in the uterus, grave). All is in a Clear Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz – the Book of Decrees with Allah).” [Qur'an 11:6]
10 Tips to Increase Provision
No doubt, Allah has already decided our sustenance yet there are some Halal ways through which we can increase our wealth. Lets discuss them in detail:
1. Seeking Forgiveness as Much as You Can
Istighfaar or seeking forgiveness from Allah for the sins we have committed is one of the best means to increase provision. Repentance is the key to all our problems. When we repent, Allah opens the door of sustenance, removes away all hardships and difficulties we face in our lives, purifies us from the sins we have done and provides us wealth from such means which we don’t even expect.
“I said (to them): ‘Ask forgiveness from your Lord, verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; He will send rain to you in abundance, And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.’” [Qur'an 71: 10-12]
In a Hadith, Ibn Abbas (May Allah be Pleased With Him) said: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be Upon Him) said,
“If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not.” [Abu Dawud]
so, when you occur a loss in your business or are worried about job, try saying Astaghfirullah as much as you can.
2. Observing Taqwa (Fearing Allah)
Allah has promised in the Holy Qur'an that whosoever fears Allah, He will provide him from sources which the person has never even imagined. So, as a true believer we must observe Taqwa and perform our duties in a righteous way. Allah says:
“And if the people of the towns had believed and had the Taqwa (piety), certainly, We should have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they belied (the Messengers). So We took them (with punishment) for what they used to earn (polytheism and crimes).” [Qur'an 7:96]
In another ayah, Allah says that if we fear Him, He will provide us a way to get out of every difficulty whether its in business or job or your career:
“And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him….” [Qur'an 65: 2-3]
3. Saying Thanks to Allah
Allah says in the Holy Qur'an:
“If you give thanks (by accepting Faith and worshipping none but Allah), I will give you more (of My Blessings); but if you are thankless (i.e. disbelievers), verily My punishment is indeed severe.” [Qur'an 14:7]
Best way to say thanks is to read out ALHAMDULILLAH; it will not only increase your provision but it is also one of the best forms of Dhikr (Remembering Allah).

4. Observing Ties of Kinship
One should be extremely careful while dealing with their family as severing the family ties is most disliked by Allah. Our immediate family i.e. brothers, sisters, uncle, aunt, parents etc. have some rights upon us and if we want to increase our provision we must behave with them nicely.
Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (Peace be upon Him) said:
“And he who believes in Allah and the Last Day should unite his ties of kinship.” [Reported by Al-Bukhari 6138]Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon Him) said: “Whoever loves that he would be granted more sustenance and that his life span would be prolonged, then he should unite his ties of kinship” [Reported by Al-Bukhari 5986 and Muslim 2557].
